Ocean Ecology Conservation Art Project - Marine ghost killer | 2021

Marine Ghost Killer (2021) is a conceptual art project that explores the devastating impact of marine pollution through surreal yet poignant visual storytelling. Using real fish specimens combined with found plastic waste, everyday packaging, and fishing debris, the work draws attention to the invisible yet lethal threats lurking in our oceans—ghost gear, microplastics, and synthetic waste. Encased in clear containers and manipulated with symbolic gestures, the fish become tragic artifacts of human negligence. This project challenges viewers to confront the consequences of single-use plastic and overfishing, inviting urgent reflection on ocean ecology and our role in its conservation.

02 | Arts of Life Project

Arts of Life (2021) is a symbolic exploration of emotional nourishment and inner dialogue. Represented through a ceramic bowl—the metaphorical container of the artist’s life—the piece is filled with hand-formed paper "dumplings," each inscribed with a different emotion, trait, or mental state, such as gentle, kind, and naïve. Everyday utensils like a broken fork and a band-aid subtly reference the vulnerability and messiness of being human. This poetic piece invites viewers to reflect on what we "consume" emotionally and how these internal ingredients shape our identity and resilience.

03 | Lemaire Collection Concept Design

- Rooted & Resilient, 2021

Rooted & Resilient is a conceptual womenswear collection that reimagines Lemaire’s signature quiet elegance through the lens of feminine strength and cultural identity. Inspired by the traditional dress of a Chinese ethnic minority, the collection honors heritage craftsmanship while aligning with Lemaire’s ethos of timeless, thoughtful design.

Influenced by the writings of Simone de Beauvoir and the sculptural works of Barbara Hepworth, the collection explores themes of autonomy, softness, and resilience. The design language is intentionally understated, allowing form and texture to carry emotional weight. A grounding cedar green serves as the primary color, symbolizing composure, introspection, and strength in stillness.

This project is a poetic dialogue between tradition and modernity—where femininity is not performed, but embodied.
